Anita Barone

Anita Barone, a stage actress with a wide range of talent, mostly involved in sitcoms on TV, got the best opportunity to shine as the wife of Jeff Foxworthy on the ABC show "The Jeff Foxworthy Show" which aired for one season between 1995 and 1996. Barone appeared on the stage when she was just 5 years old in Detroit when her family moved from St Louis. At the age of 23 she was in more than 50 productions mostly for university productions and regional theaters. She portrayed Juliet, a frightened young nun in "Agnes of God,"" Helen Keller, the leading character of "Monday After the Miracle,"" as well as Juliet also as Juliet in "Romeo and Juliet." Her screen debut came by playing a minor role on the screen in "The The Rosary Murders" (1987) she also played one scene in "Ricochet" (1991) and was cast as the lead in the comedy that was indie "Just Friends" (1996). Barone had her first notable Hollywood film role in the form of Carol & Company (NBC, 1990-1991) - the ill-fated attempt by Carol Burnett in trying to bring back the comedy sketch show. Barone also starred in the 1995 USA Network movie, "Wounded Heart". She eventually went back to her sitcom routine, costarring with Michael Chiklis on "Daddio". Anita Anita Anita
